CUSTOMER SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions.

By placing an order at The Gift Shop, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old or have parents' permission to buy from us.
We do not offer refunds. We can only offer store credit or exchange
We offer returns within 15 days of purchase and with evidence of manufacture fault
The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order
Due to prompt shipping time, we have a no cancellation policy
Shipping costs and payment fees are recognized before confirming the purchase
Once shipped, the package becomes responsibility and property of the receiver
The Gift Shop are not liable for customs, duties fees and local charges that may apply to your area.

The Gift Shop reserves the right to amend any information without prior notice


RETURNS AND REFUNDS:
As the majority of our stock is made to order or in small editions we cannot accept returns unless there is a manufacturer fault present. A manufacturer's fault is determined on a case by case basis.  We check all our items thoroughly before sending and secure the package (s) for durable travel. If your package (s) arrive damaged please tell your delivery service as soon as possible.

At this point we do not offer refunds on products. If a return must happen, we will happily swap it within 15 days of purchase or offer you a store credit, the shipping expense will be the responsibility of the customer.  

We do not condone the selling of our items anywhere but from our online and retail store. If you have bought your The Gift Shop piece from a retailer, please seek assistance from the retailer's customer service team about their returns and exchange policies.  In the unlikely event stock is bought from a retailer or outside vendor (ebay, tradesey, etsy etc) it cannot be returned or exchanged via The Gift Shop.

All sales on pre-order, custom and sales pieces are final. There are no returns or exchanges on these items. Please ensure you are aware of the product you are buying.

CANCELLATIONS:
Due to the fact we ship so promptly, once an order is submitted we are unable to change or cancel the order. If you have additional questions about your order, please contact us directly via our contact form


SALES TAX , CUSTOMS AND DUTIES
Please note that VAT and tax calculations are based on the country and state specified in your shipping address. These may vary according to your country; it is your responsibility to be aware of these costs. The Gift Shop is not responsible for paying these additional taxes, customs or duties.

The Gift Shop ships internationally to all countries. International orders may attract customs duties and taxes. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to. As we are unable to advise the amount this may be, please check with your local customs authority prior to placing an order.

SHIPPING METHODS & COSTS

Once a package leaves our hands and is under your tracking number the responsibility for the package turns over to the customer. By submitting your address on your order confirmation you confirm the address is correct and that someone will be present to receive or watch out for your package until it's arrival. We cannot assist with package delays, please see the postage or shipping company for updates via their customer service using the tracking number we provide you with.

All orders are shipped within 1 - 3 business days. Pre-order items are subject to lead times of 2 - 6 weeks. Please check each items individual shipping tab to see shipping details. Due to the nature of production with pre-order items lead times are subject to change by 1 week or so.

USA - Once processed your order will be produced and delivered within 1-3 business days. If you require that your order is signed for on delivery please contact us before hand at info@thegiftshopnyc.com. It is your responsibility to arrange for re-delivery with the specified courier/postage company, by choosing signed on delivery you acknowledge someone will be present to sign for your package.

INTERNATIONALLY - Products shipped internationally are typically processed within 48 hours pending availability and credit card verification. Please note international orders may attract customs duties and taxes. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to. As we are unable to advise the amount this may be, please check with your local customs authority prior to placing an order
 
E-STORE ITEM DETAILS:

We retain the right to change the prices of our product on our website at any point. Once your sale is made is it final regardless if a price change occurs during the shipping or after you order. The pictures on our website and social media platforms are for example purposes only. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear in the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colors will be accurate, the piece you receive will not be the exact piece photographed as these are samples which do go through a photoshop process. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services or information or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations or that any errors in the service will be corrected.
